Eddy Mark IV heat guns have a brushed style motor, consisting of a field assembly (stator) and an armature (rotor). Furthermore, the heat gun has two brush holders, two carbon brushes and two spings and caps that hold the carbon brushes in place. All of these parts make up the brushed motor assembly. The heat gun will not work unless all parts are fitted and wired properly. This is the replacement field assembly or "stator" for the motor assembly.
