The Eddy Mark IV Heat Gun Housing comes finished with with all hardware and both brush holders and is a complete replacement assembly designed for Eddy Products’ Mark IV series heat guns, including models EP-3ULM, EP-5ULM, EP-6ULM, EP-7ULM, and EP-1100 Plus. Constructed from G.E. Lexan 940A Resin, a 10 MFR polycarbonate blended with fiberglass, the housing is flame-retardant, mold-released, and UL-approved, offering superior impact strength, corrosion resistance, and electrical insulation for durability in demanding industrial environments. The housing encases the heat gun’s internal components, including the entire motor assembly.
This housing assembly includes all necessary hardware, such as screws, nuts, and bolts, to secure the housing and components. It also incorporates two brush holders, each containing a carbon brush, pressure spring, and brush holder cap, essential for completing the electrical circuit to the motor’s armature, which spins at 7,200–7,500 RPM. The brush holders are positioned on the top and bottom of the housing for easy access and maintenance, extending the heat gun’s lifespan. This robust, serviceable assembly is ideal for restoring or maintaining Eddy Mark IV heat guns used in applications like heat shrinking, paint stripping, and woodworking, backed by a two-year parts and labor warranty.
