Our aftermarket version of the #99000126 blower kit is based on Lopi's latest version and replaces legacy part number #99000133. It is also backwards compatible, so it works with the older Lopi inserts as well as the newer 2012+ cast aluminum ash lip models.
The blower is thermostatically controlled, so it's activated with a heat sensor that's mounted to the rear chassis. A full range variable speed control module is installed in the middle of the chassis for easy control of the blower's speed.
It's difficult to improve on an already great OEM design, but we've managed to improve several key points of this kit that we think make a big difference in the performance and longevity of the unit. First, we made the blowers serviceable. The OEM blowers are riveted to the housing and are not available as OEM replacements. The entire OEM kit must be repurchased at a nearly $400 replacement cost. Our blowers can be removed and serviced very easily without having to replace the entire kit. Secondly, we use two 100% ball bearing blower assemblies paired with highly efficient motors. This gives us improved noise control without sacrificing air flow. In fact, we've improved the air flow. In part due to our redesigned wheels. We've ditched the heat prone composite wheels for aluminum wheels that will not melt, warp or crack. We think this makes for a pretty incredible setup and we're able to do all of this at a price significantly less than the OEM assembly.
