Product Description

Iroda PS-14, replacement Orifice Assembly. The Orifice Assembly should be cleaned or replaced when: 1) Soldering iron does not ignite, 2) There's low gas pressure or low flame, or 3) The tip does not ignite.  Keep in mind that simply replacing the Orifice Assembly may not always be the fix to your problem, however it should at least be attempted when troubleshooting what the main cause of your issue is.  Please see "Troubleshooting" table below for other fixes for your Solderpro soldering iron.  This Orifice Assembly will fit all Iroda and Solder-It Solderpro Models: SP-100, SP-110, SP-120 and SP-150.   

Problem: Problem Cause: How to Correct:
Does Not Ignite
  1. Empty gas tank
  2. Too high or low fuel pressure
  3. Push On/Off ignition switch too fast
  4. Clogged orifice connector
  1. Refill with butane fuel
  2. Adjust control lever to higher or lower position
  3. Re-read "how to use a soldering iron"
  4. Clean or replace with new Orifice Assembly
Low Gas Pressure or Flame
  1. Clogged Orifice Connector
  2. Cold Fuel
  3. Low Fuel
  1. Clean or replace with new one
  2. Hold body in hands allowing fuel to warm up
  3. Refuel
Tip Does Not Heat Up
  1. Used up Catalyst inside tip housing
  2. Insufficient fuel pressure
  3. Clogged orifice connector
  1. Replace with new tip
  2. Adjust control lever to a higher position
  3. Clean or replace with new one
