Product Description

The PT-500 provides a powerful and easily controllable butane flame output for a range of applications where a high or varying BTU output is required.  Some of those applications include Brazing, Soldering, Dental Repairs, Plumbing, Tool and Die Shops, Electronic Repairs, Automotive and Truck Repairs and Industrial Maintenance.

    I have the PT-550cr which I love, but Kevin at Eddy Products moved me over to the PT-500 because it's non-childproof, has the same high output flame (about 4-5 inches on high), and has an adjustable flame. Also, on the PT-500, I don't have to hold the button in to keep the flame lit, or slide over the childproof lock. Once I ignite it, the torch stays lit and is easily adjustable.
