Iroda SP-50 | AT-2056 Combo Kit
The Iroda SOLDERPRO-50 is a popular pocket-sized butane powered soldering iron. This multi-function heat tool is specifically designed for the hobby/DIY enthusiast. The SP-50 is ideal for quick repairs of circuit boards and electronics, at home, in the car or in the field, fits in your pocket and is ready to power on and solder, wherever you are. The SP-50 is extremely versatile and has a wide range of optional tips for various applications.
The Pro-50 uses a flint roller on the end of its protective cap for ignition, or you can also use any style of lighter or torch. I test thousands of these units every year and always use the Iroda AT-2056 to do so. I simply turn the Pro-50's gas valve lever on high, light the AT-2056 torch, and direct its flame into the largest screen opening on the side of the Pro-50's (T-01) tip. You'll know when the tip has been lit, when you start to see an orange glow inside the tip. Once the inside of the tip starts to glow orange, you can turn the AT-2056 torch off as the Solderpro 50 has now been lit, and you can use it for your application.\
I've received many emails regarding the SP-50 and how much of a pain it can be to start, so i'm now offering my customers the option to use the same method I use, possibly relieving you of some stess, especially if you're as inpatient as I am. It's a quick and easy solution!
